An Afternoon Sunset At Lake Iseo, Italy.

A View Of Lake Iseo

A View Of Lake Iseo

I don’t know about you but a good sunset always makes my heart skip a beat or two. Watching the light ever so softly and gently fade away into night is probably one of the most special and romantic things you can ever do. Your worries and troubles disappear as you’re hypnotized by the beauty in front of you. The simple joy of that moment puts things into perspective and leaves you refreshed, full of hope.

Watching the sunset over Lake Iseo from Sulzano, Italy this past weekend, I was happily held spellbound by this view.

It left me yearning to explore more of this little lake that’s often overshadowed by it’s notorious rivals Lakes Como and Garda. The Lake Iseo area lacks hordes of tourists and is full of quaint charm. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The people are kind, the food and wine are good (of course) and the lake views fantastic.

Watch for blog posts about Brescia, one of my new favorite regions of Italy! I’ll share loads of tips about what you can see and do there. For example, if you’d like to experience this *exact* lakeside view, consider staying at the Rivalogo Hotel.

Address: Via Luigi Cadorna, 7, 25058 Sulzano Brescia, Italy.

* Disclosure – My stay at the Rivalogo Hotel was complimentary, courtesy of Brescia Tourism. Any opinions expressed are entirely my own.
