Walking through the streets of Krakow’s Kazimierz district one weekend last year, I found a much needed escape from the harsh winter cold at Satori Cafe-Bistro.

I stumbled across this cafe completely by accident when I came in to ask for directions as I was on my way to the Plac Nowy Jewish market and in the midst of my quest to document Krakow street art.

It was so beautiful inside that I ended up stopping for a warm cappuccino while I consulted my Lonely Planet Krakow city guidebook to find out the exact location of the market.

With it’s cozy interior,  retro inspired furniture, shelves full of books and even it’s own small stylized blue car – I have to say that Satori Cafe-Bistro must be surely be the coolest cafe in all of Krakow.

And this means a lot coming from a self-professed cafe junkie!
