My New Berlin Guidebook with Favoroute

I’m pretty excited to introduce my new little baby to the world, a Berlin guidebook, created in partnership with Favoroute. It’s now available on iTunes and Android for only €4,99!

Favoroute offers up a series of alternative guidebook apps designed by travel experts (like me!) that help you get to know various cities around the world a little better. With offline map capabilities, insider tips, beautiful photos, and more, Favoroute’s all about travel inspiration with their motto “your soul is your compass.” They take you to places you may not have known about otherwise, like these hidden gems in Berlin.

There are plenty of guidebooks about Berlin out there already, but mine is just a little bit different. How? Well, with my 3-day guide to Berlin, I take you to some of my very favourite places around the city.

From Prenzlauer Berg (where I live) to Kreuzberg, and Neukölln, you’ll tour three different neighbourhoods around Berlin. Expect to experience some hot spots for brunch, trendy coffee shops, various art galleries, relaxation in outdoor spaces, and of course, Berlin’s epic nightlife.

Explore Prenzlauer Berg

Your first day in Berlin will start at one of the best coffee shops in all of Prenzlauer Berg, NO FIRE NO GLORY and later, you can brunch at the ever popular Café Anna Blume.

Expect to soak up a lot of history when exploring the Wasserturm, checking out a free Everyday life in the GDR exhibit at Kultur Braurei or walking along a former chunk of the Berlin Wall.

Finish off your jam-packed day with comfort food at Muse and then check out the bar scene at Helmholtzplatz.

Explore Kreuzberg

Day two of my Berlin guidebook involves taking on Kreuzberg, one of the most vibrant and happening districts in Berlin.

There are stops at eateries like Nest Café, another cool place for brunch, and White Trash Fast Food, which whips up a mean burger and other delights.

Then there’s swimming and getting some sun at Badeschiff, an old barge set in the middle of the Spree.

Or gallery happening at Berlinische Galerie and Künstlerhaus Bethanien.

Of course, there are plenty of Berlin bars to visit like Club der Visionäre and one of my all-time favourites, Facciola, a new wine bar in Kreuzberg.

Explore Neukölln

Day three of the Berlin guidebook offers a much slower pace, with a walk along the scenic Maybachufer, chilling at Tempelhofer Feld, and swimming at one of the most beautiful pools in the city, the Stadtbad Neukölln.
